3.5 BTC – over PLN 84,800, went to the winners of the 3×3 Feel The Bit tournament, which took place on September 15, at Solny Square in Wrocław, Poland.

The event attracted many basketball enthusiasts and all those who wanted to see the streetball returning to Wrocław. It was a big comeback and in an unusual combination – with Bitcoin.

12 fantastic basketball teams (48 players) took part in the 3×3 Feel The Bit tournament, and twenty fantastic matches were played during the whole Saturday.

Energa 3×3 Gdańsk got the first place and became the owner of 1 Bitcoin, the second place was taken by the 3×3 Miasteczko team (0.4 BTC), and the third by Planet Cash (0.2 BTC).

An amazing Blind Shot for 25,000 PLN

Another Bitcoin went to Mr. Bogdan from Wroclaw, who took part in the Blind Shot – half-court shot with blindfolded eyes. A person from the audience was randomly chosen to make a shot worth almost 25 thousand PLN (the sponsor of the prize – PayCoiner). Spectators gathered in the stands and around the pitch, who watched the show, did not hide their surprise and joy when the man hit the basket.

The winner of the shot with covered eyes, when asked about the way he would spend the money he won, replied: “I’m not sure yet but I will definitely have fun doing that!”

Legends of the Polish basketball and a noble goal!

The program of the tournament also included a place for a vip charity contest –
a three-point line, in which the legendary Polish basketball players Jerzy Binkowski and Maciej Zieliński took part, as well as the owner of the MVP portal Magazyn Jakub Roskosz, the organizer and the representative of Aktywniaki Foundation, Filip Marek and the person chosen from audience.

During the competition, the main sponsor – CoinDeal  a cryptocurrency exchange – decided to warm up the atmosphere. The check was originally worth 0.4 BTC, which went up to 0.5 BTC, in response to the strong enthusiasm of the audience.

Maciej Zieliński, who was the winner of the three-point shot line goal vip contest, decided that the award – the equivalent of over 12,000. PLN – will be transferred to the Przylądek Nadziei Foundation.

Dunk Contest

In the competition, the viewers watched the best dunkers from Poland, including World champion Rafał ‘Lipek’ Lipiński, Maciej Głowacki, Szymon Badowski and Karol Skorowski. Lipek won the competition and received 0.4 BTC (about 10 thousand PLN), funded by FutureNet.
