The NBA champions form 51’; the Sacramento Kings has not overtaken other teams with a score, but with the innovative way, they want to fund a scholarship program.

According to the local news The Sacramento Bee, their Sacramento-based NBA team has started working with the MiningStore to install mining hardware inside their Golden 1 Center arena.

The Sacramento’s team want to create cryptocurrency mining facility inside their arena, which profits will be used to fund a long-term local MiningForGood scholarship program. According to their official announcement, the Kings want to “support Sacramento based causes starting with the Build. Black. The coalition – a group of Sacramento community leaders organized to support transformational change for Black communities in Sacramento.” And as the program will grow, it will “embrace emerging platforms as an engine for social change.”

The Kings with MiningStore help will mine Ethereum inside their arena.

“The Sacramento Kings are pioneers in exploring cryptocurrency and its potential impact,” said MiningStore Founder JohnPaul Baric in the announcement. “We’re thrilled to partner with a forward-thinking organization that looks for ways to create positive change – through technology or sports.”
