New Board Secretary of Huobi, LMAX Join Crypto

Today big players have announced changes, the CEO of one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange platforms has changed company to Huobi, where he will be responsible for e.g., fusions. LMAX will add cryptocurrencies to their trading offer.

Charlie Lee joins Huobi

A few days ago we wrote about Chris Lee who was the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange market with the biggest daily trading volume – OKEx.

He left his position to “start a new life” as he said. However, according to Cointelegraph Japan, he is now joining another crypto exchange platform. He will join Huobi as a Board Secretary and VP of International Business Development.

The ex-CEO of OKEx will be responsible for e.g., the global fusions strategy and company takeovers.

LMAX with cryptocurrencies

According to the Financial Times, LMAX UK-based trading platform announced that they will join cryptocurrency market.

LMAX which has been fiat currency trading platform since 2010, wants to expand their offer with cryptos.

“We are furthering the legitimization of the cryptocurrency market by offering institutions a platform on which to acquire, trade and hold crypto currencies securely with high quality, deep liquidity,” LMAC CEO David Mercer have stated.

“The rise of institutional trading of cryptocurrencies will be a game-changer for the industry,” he continued.

Big financial players and regulations will be a game changer for cryptocurrency industry, hopefully there will be fewer scams and more valued projects which will change our daily life.
