Denmark joins European Partnership, Coinbase meets Japan
Denmark sings declaration
lately also Denmark has signed this declaration, according to Finans Watch.
Denmark has joined the EU member state blockchain partnership which was formed in April this year, as a part of European Commission’s Digital Day. The whole partnership was created to improve cooperation between members which are working on developing blockchain technology.
They want, as the first country, to use blockchain tech to register ships in the Danish ship registers.
Brian Mikkelsen, the Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, said:
“Blockchain goes across borders, and a joint European cooperation is crucial to ensure future-proof standards and solutions. So I’m very pleased that we have now signed this declaration.”
Coinbase meets Japan
new version of their cryptocurrency trading platform GDAX, now they have announced that they will expand to Japan.
According to the official announcement, they want to expand their services to Japanese customers, and to do so, they will open the office in the “Land of the Rising Sun”. The management of the new office will be in “the highly-respected and admired fintech leader”- Nao Kitazawa hands.

Coinbase also wants to be sure that there will be no problem with Japanese regulators. The company hopes to be “working hand-in-hand with the Japanese FSA to ensure compliance with local laws at every stage.” as they said in their blog post.
